OTC was established in 1989 and is the UK specialist for fibre optic and photometric calibration. We hold UKAS accreditation and provide reference calibrations for many company test departments around the world. OTC is also a lead specialist for many calibration labs who look to us for expert advice. Our expertise regularly takes us away from our base in Bradford to carry out on-site calibrations. Our employees bring many skills and wide experience to OTC - designing OTDRs and splicers, data and video communication systems, terminations and fibre installation work. We were involved at the start of fibre optics and have kept abreast of technical developments ever since. Supporting our calibration activities, we now have a range of test equipment available for both sale and hire and all instruments come with the reassurance of OTC calibration before shipment. As well as 1 week turnround on in-house calibrations, we have countrywide collections, a team of experienced repair technicians, knowledgeable customer support, subcontract management, UKAS and ISO9001 accreditation, all designed to make calibration trouble free.
