OPTIMAD is an engineering consultancy and software-house, spin-off of the Politecnico of Turin, highly specialized in the solution of engineering problems. With more than 10 years' experience OPTIMAD supports international companies and develops first-class software for aerodynamics analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and design optimization, thanks to staff's expertise based on strong, established technical and scientific PhD skills. OPTIMAD builds and cultivates skills to develop new generations of software that improve business workflows and reduce resources for our customers-partners. Through our state-of-the-art technologies OPTIMAD goes the extra mile and builds innovation together with the customers. To support its activities, the company has designed and developed three stand-alone and integrated tools to solve CFD problems. Or rather, software packages in-house with the aim of automating simulation processes to simplify business workflows and reduce time. mimic, is an advanced tool that provides mesh manipulation and mesh morphing capabilities. With mimic it is possible to perform morphing operations on surface and volume meshes in complex design projects, avoiding the use of CAD. ImmerFLOW, a software that automates simulations in the Cloud with an intuitive, end-user customized interface. With immerFLOW we provide bespoke services for our customers RomBox, is an Expert System with the aim to help the engineer in his/her decision making process by combining heterogeneous data. RomBox allows to interpret input and output data and infer the relation between them. Since its foundation, OPTIMAD has believed in the importance of technology transfer. Today research is OPTIMAD added value and the company constantly invests in the future. Collaborations with Universities and Research Centers allow to provide innovative solutions with something new and to be actively involved in several publicly funded research projects.
