Trip reports and beta for Prominence focused Peakbagging adventures.There are many aspects of mountain climbing I love, from the serene environments to the challenging workout. The two features of standing on top of a mountain that I love the most are the views and, oddly enough, the statistics. Prominence focused peakbagging is how I achieve those two aspects as often as possible.Choosing mountains to climb primarily based on prominence means that the summit will usually be accompanied by wonderful views, and I can also do a lot of math and statistics in my head while climbing. I promise to always share with you the views, but, for your sakes, limit the statistics I share.Optimistic Prominence primarily features peaks with significant enough prominence to provide good views. There will also be a handful of other summits thrown in that might not have large prominence, but might also be significant in their own right - such as high points.
