A mobile medical service for professional health-care fields, currently focused on the ophthalmic sector.OMD was founded by Dr. Allan Fruman O.D., who has over 40+ years of experience in the optometric industry, 35 years of which he spent successfully running his own practice.During this time, Dr. Fruman realized that the high costs associated with the instrumentation required to offer certain optometric assessments were preventing many doctors from offering these services to their patients in- house, often interrupting ongoing care.OMD was formed in 2015 to help provide quality, fast and cost-effective solutions in this area and to also create an avenue for health-care professionals to share feedback and compare notes on difficult cases.
