Optimus forms part of the Commtel Group, a British manufacturer and distributor of intercoms used for door, gate and barrier access. Since 1992 we at Commtel have been designing & helping installers install access control systems to all sorts of places including blocks of flats, commercial sites, schools, hospitals and private residences.Over those years we have noticed that accessibility, safety and security are increasing motivators for more and more people, however, some of the costs related to intercom systems can be prohibitive.Happy to accept a challenge our research and development team set about creating a system that gives your clients optimum security, is easy to use, easy to install and offers excellent value for money.In late 2016 we launched Optimus, a range of five GSM intercoms made to the same high standards as the Telguard range. From the simple one button unit to the 4 call button and keypad each unit has everything you need to install and go, including a SIM card with a range of tariffs available to suit your requirements.
