Optionable Futures Academy (www.OptionableFuturesAcademy.org), a Florida, USA based private, non-profit educational institution for traders of the equities and commodities markets. We provide intensive, thorough, practical, avocational training for those seeking to trade more effectively for their own accounts. The Academy's broad yet deep, highly practical spectrum of training focuses on developing superior trading skills applicable to a variety of markets and market conditions. The Academy trains students striving for mastery of trading in both equities and commodities - stocks, ETFs, futures and options - through the offering of comprehensive certificate programs with graduating students receiving the Certificate of Competency in Equities Trading or the Certificate of Competency in Commodities Trading or both. All training at present is provided by the world-renown master trader Steven T. Slatem, who is a registered Principal for the CFTC- and NFA-registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) and Commodity Pool Operator (CPO) trading and investment management firm, Synerginvest, LLC, and has a fully disclosed trading history that serves as absolute proof of his remarkable talent. The Academy plans to announce additional exceptionally talented faculty in the future. The Academy is sharply focused on providing highly practical training. The Academy, while it requires its students to acquire some third-party-produced study materials, is very strong in the development and use of its own proprietary study materials, including intensive use of electronic and printed flash cards, practical decision-making and problem-solving exercises and pervasive use of advanced paper money/simulated/hypothetical trading systems for real-time and back-testing trading throughout the entire programs of study. Each student will trade several paper money/simulated/hypothetical trading accounts during the chosen study program(s).
