Orange Coast River Park, Inc is a 501 ( c) (3) non-profit with a mission to coordinate educational, recreational, and conservation efforts among stakeholders in the area that we consider to be within the boundaries of the Orange Coast River Park. By coordinating efforts across boundaries and stakeholders we can seek greater efficiency, eliminate waste, and attract greater funding from government, Non-governmental organizations (NGO's), and private sources.OCRP coordinates with stakeholders, agencies, landowners, and the public to help more than 1,000 acres of Open Space at the mouth of the Santa Ana River have a master plan that meets the diverse needs of our urban populations while also allowing for conservation and preservation of valuable habitats.OCRP has three major goals:Restore historic ecological staircaseExtend a seamless passageway to the coast from inlandCreate access for residents and visitors to an oasis of tranquilityOCRP has the following Basic Principles:Property owners retain their ownership and authorityAgencies act in partnership to manage the parkStakeholders work together for the benefit of the overall parkOCRP was originally founded as a committee of FHBP.
