To tell the story of how OREFICI watches began, we must go back to nearly a century ago in 1939 when my grandfather, Luigi Farioli, began working as an orefice, a goldsmith, on Via OREFICI (street of goldsmiths) in Milano, Italy. He was a true artisan and ahead of his time. Where Milano is known as the heart of creation in Italy, Via OREFICI is known as the soul being the most important watch and jewelry trade area for the past century. Via OREFICI is still the most important trade market in Italy for high value collectables.
