The Oregon Association of Professional Energy Managers was founded in 1982 as a partnership of business, government and utilities. Oregon APEM seeks to advance the understanding and practice of efficient energy use through forums, facility tours, and face-to-face dialogue. Oregon APEM provides a forum for energy and resource management professionals in Oregon and Southwest Washington to share information and to grow professionally. In 2006 Oregon APEM incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
