Public Policy - Portland, Oregon, United States
The Oregon Business Plan is a policy forum to create jobs, raise incomes, and reduce poverty in Oregon. Led by the business community, in partnership with leaders in the education, nonprofit and public sectors. The goals of the plan are to create 25,000 jobs per year, raise incomes above the U.S. average, and reduce poverty below 10%. The Plan is updated every year with a new policy agenda which is presented at an annual policy Summit at the Oregon Convention Center and advocated for with the Governor and legislature during legislative sessions.
