The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) is the voice of the $100 billion industry responsible for bringing lighting, power, and communications to buildings and communities across the United States. NECA's national office and 119 local chapters advance the electrical contracting industry through advocacy, education, research, and standards development.NECA provides electrical contractors with the resources to directly influence their industry through cooperative labor relations, governmental affairs activities, and progressive risk management/workplace safety programs.The Oregon Pacific-Cascade Chapter of NECA was founded in 1974 with 27 member contractors. Today, the Chapter has 41 members and represents over 180 electrical contractors from Woodburn south down the I-5 corridor to Siskiyou and Modoc counties in California, and from the coast to Bend and Klamath Falls.Our chapter works in partnership with Local Unions 280, 659, and 932 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) to ensure workers are highly skilled and properly trained, while keeping safety a priority.
