Our Mission: Origins is on a journey of discovering the meaning of people, life, and faith. Our Vision: Origins is a people of God committed to changing the spiritual temperature of the Treasure Valley through service and love. The Gospel of Ransom: Central to Origins is the belief that the story of God as told in the Bible is essentially about an exchange, God's plan, provision, and rescue for our imperfection, short comings, and bondage. (Matt. 20:28; Mark 10:45; 1 Tim 2:5-6) Because this exchange is not only about an eternal destination, but also about day to day living, we are called to join with God as He works to return all of creation to its Godly design. Living in that reality means we trust that God is continually offering the following Acts of Ransom to any who will accept: Grace for Shame Freedom for Captivity Strength for Weakness Community for Loneliness Action for Apathy
