Our origins:Origins Psychology Group (OPG) was founded by Dr Mathew Pfeiffer in 2019 to serve individuals and the community.The OPG team is led by Dr Pfeiffer, a registered psychologist whose PhD thesis explores the effects of outdoor education on teenagers' psychological development. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and has experience working alongside children, teenagers and adults in educational, corporate and government settings. Mathew aims to bring about positive change for clients by acknowledging the vital role of thinking styles and patterns of behaviour on emotional well-being.Mathew's experience in educational settings, coupled with his academic research allows him to assist teenagers and families to flourish through the challenges that make up this complex stage of life so they may develop resiliency and a strong sense of identity to complement their transition into adulthood.
