Orion Gaming B.V. developed and produced slot machines for the international casino market. The company was founded in 1993 and was located in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands.Orion Gaming initially produced stepper machines. Using their worldwide patented microstepper technology, Orion Gaming launched stepper machines that evaded the Telnaes patent on virtual reels. Orion Gaming was also the only one to launch a slot machine with a wheel feature in the top box.In 2001 Orion introduced their first video platform together with the customized Bingo / Keno machine for Holland Casino.In 2003, the platform was upgraded to be the first manufacturer in the world to offer a dual screen video slot machine that could display high-resolution graphics and excellent sound to create an amazing gaming and player experience.At the same time, they launched their Twinstar cabinet and upgrade the Slanttop cabinet to the new platform.Orion Gaming developed state-of-the-art products, of which many are still in operation.In 2005 Orion Gaming became Holland Casino's preferred supplier.In 2006 Orion Gaming was acquired by WMS Gaming in Chicago.
