Her life experience is a "mescolanza" gathered in the coast of Venezuela, the hustle and bustle of Brazil, a persistent Lithuanian heritage, the easy life of Northern California and the relentless horizon of the American Southwest - the latter revealing a process deeply rooted to place. By refining a narrative that Karole develops with her husband, Grady - a fiction writer born and raised in New Mexico - they combine site and culture with contemporary technology to create intimate objects for daily use.
