Since then OrthoMetals has proven it's recycling concept and is active in over 20 countries worldwide with more than 1000 crematoria participating.COLLECTIONOrthoMetals provides a complete recycling solution dedicated for crematoria. This includes both non-ferrous and ferrous metals, as well as orthopedic and dental implants and other metals. We collect all recovered metals at the crematoria. The actual sorting and recycling takes place at our own sorting facility in The Netherlands. Our complete process takes place under strict ISO9001 & ISO14001 certification and mandatory country specific licenses. That way we can guarantee the best result for the participating crematoria.SORTINGThe collected metals are weighed on the collection truck at the crematorium and we leave signed paperwork. After we finish the pick-up round, we return to our sorting facility in The Netherlands. The sorting process is operated per crematorium, to ensure complete transparency. Throughout the sorting process, the metals are weighed and administered.SMELTINGAt our partner foundries, the sorted metals are smelted for re-use.
