Orthotics Plus was established in 2012 by our Director and Senior Orthotist Kate Perlstein. After spending many years in public and private facilities in Victoria, it was Kate's goal to provide a better alternative for patients requiring orthotic management and to re-invent what an orthotics clinic could be.The focus to provide excellent facilities to our patients, only hire the best clinicians and support staff and to focus on 5 main treatment groups has lead Orthotics Plus to be one of Australia's most respected orthotics clinics.Orthotics Plus specialises in:Foot and ankle conditionsFracture management of both the upper and lower limbsDiabetic foot managementNeuromuscular Conditions (complex and simple)Spinal- acute and post-operativeSince 2012, Orthotics Plus has experienced a great deal of growth, expanding to multiple locations and employing a team of highly experienced clinicians. We believe every patient should leave the appointment with a clear understanding of their condition and the treatment plan available.Orthotics Plus works closely with many Orthopaedic Surgeons, General Practitioners, Vascular Surgeons, Sports Doctors, Podiatrists and Physiotherapists who we call upon for further opinions and management. All patients are reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure treatment is appropriate.We offer a same day service where possible and in particular for acute injuries (i.e.: fractures and soft tissue injuries). We also offer a range of financial support.Orthotics Plus offers onsite manufacturing. All custom made products are fabricated right here at Orthotics Plus by your Orthotist.
