Oslo Region European Office represents Eastern Norway, also known as the Oslo Region, in Brussels. The region of Oslo is a diverse region with cities, mountains, lakes, forests and so much more. The region consists of 2,2 million inhabitants, which is nearly half of Norway's population. We work on behalf of 18 municipalities, counties and universities to bring Europe closer to our wonderful region. Our focus areas are "the green transition" and "inclusive society". Our members are:– Municipalities: Oslo, Drammen, Lillestrøm, Bærum, Lillehammer, Hamar, Kongsberg, Flesberg, Løten, Stange, Nordre Follo og Elverum.– Counties: Viken, Innlandet, Vestfold og Vestfold og Telemark.– Universities: Høgskolen i Sørøst-Norge & OsloMet – Storbyuniversitetet. Our office has six full-time employees, and one intern each semester. Our office is located in Nordic House in Brussels, a short distance from the European Parliament and other important organizations. We also have an office in Oslo.
