Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics is a national LGBTQ-affirming organization that aims to provide services and support for students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and to create a dynamic network between students and professionals in industry and academia, locally affiliated with the IDEA Resource Center in the Jacobs School of Engineering @ the University of California, San Diego.Our Mission: empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals in STEM to innovate traditional spaces through professional and personal development opportunities, a comprehensive resource network, and a community-centric culture of talent, leadership, and activism.Our Vision: Imagining an intersectional world in which LGBTQIA+ individuals in STEM achieve success and are celebrated.
