Percept solves the physical deployment and logical integration problems of computer vision by creating a process for objectifying rich media streams from the edge to the data center. The Percept edge software codec slashes data load by 40x compared to traditional video codecs and enables the deployment of lower cost, battery powered cameras with low power networking to bypass WiFi and cellular dependencies. Percept-Hub is the destination microservice with a scalable data lake for object and media storage and policy management. Data is shaped and routed using the Percept high level query language which "pipes" data sets to leading and open AI backend services where the data becomes further enriched. Finally, users pipe the enriched datasets to open business intelligence systems for powerful physical world AI analytics.
