Otero Ramos Family Winery was born to honor an ancient legacy whichstarted two generations ago in the lands of Galicia, Spain. Towards the end of the 20th Century, Manuel Otero conceived and planned theviticulture, winemaking and tourism project he had thought of for manyyears through the experience gathered in this activity. He acquired asignificant parcel of land in Mayor Drummond, Luján de Cuyo, at 33ºSouth latitude and situated at an elevation of 900 meters above sea level,on the eastern flank of the Andes Mountains, with hot days, cold nightsand little rain. It belongs to "Luján de Cuyo" Appellation of Origin. Withextraordinary ecological conditions, this place has well deserved thename of First Viticultural and Winemaking Area.The winery's Spanish style is typical of the end of the 19th century. Ithas a wine cellar which stores wine in oak barrels and bottles, withmechanisms for humidity and temperature control. Premium wines, thehighest technology and the most careful and traditional winemakingpractices identify this winery.
