Otimo is on a mission, using our smart app, to turn the everyday necessity of driving into a gamified user experience. Ultimately promoting safe driving; saving lives, money and the planet. Here's why:For too long, measures taken to improve road safety have been unimaginative and solely centred around infrastructural changes. As a result, due to unaccountability and lack of awareness, the roads are becoming more dangerous as the single-player mindset of drivers forces standards to drop. There has been little-to-no thought given to the actual road users and we see this as a big issue. By using mobile telematics, and real-time motion sensors that already exist within the phone, we are engaging drivers through a social and gamified platform, ultimately improving road safety and awareness.In our mission on making the roads of Britain safer, we see the importance of positively influencing the drivers of tomorrow - learner drivers. As a result, our app aims to improve the skill, awareness and confidence of our future road users for their lessons, their test, and beyond.
