Oudens Ello Architecture is a Boston-based, full-service architecture, planning and urban design office specializing in academic, cultural and institutional projects. Principals Matthew Oudens, AIA, LEED AP, Conrad Ello, AIA, LEED AP are experts at creating innovative architectural solutions that respond to their specific physical and cultural contexts and reflect a close collaborative relationship with each client. Current clients include the Martha's Vineyard Museum, Stonington Historical Society, Williams College, Woodlawn Museum, Gardens & Park, Boston College, the City of Gloucester, MA and the towns of Webster, Dartmouth and Norwell, MA.Prior to founding their practice in 2007, Mr. Oudens and Mr. Ello held senior leadership positions at Machado and Silvetti Associates, a 40-person, internationally recognized design firm. They have extensive experience managing complex design processes, budgets, schedules, consultant and client teams. Award-winning projects under their leadership include the Getty Villa, Bowdoin College Museum of Art, Honan-Allston Branch of the Boston Public Library, and the South Boston Maritime Park for the Massachusetts Port Authority.
