Our Children's Medicine (OCM) is a social enterprise with the mandate of increasing Indigenous representation at businesses across Canada. It is critical that employers take steps to ensure that their workforce is representative of the 5% of Canadians who identify as First Nations, Metis and Inuit - and OCM is here to help!OCM has designed and implemented a robust package of supports for both employers and job seekers to ensure long-term, thoughtful and sustainable success. These services include:- Business goal setting and consultation services about Indigenizing your recruitment, hiring and interview practices. - Indigenous Employee Sourcing through OCM's assessment based online hiring platforms. - Cultural Awareness session(s) for recruiters, human resources, people managers and leaders. - Employee & Employer Support Text Line.- Retention Services.- Outreach to the more than 21,000 job seekers in our 'Talent Pool' database.- Your Brand Awareness amongst the Indigenous community.Our tried, tested and successful model has led to 1067 hires at 97 employers in communities across the country since September 2017.
