HistoryOur Lady of Mount Carmel School is a Catholic Pre-K – 8 elementary school nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Redwood City. Part of the Archdiocese of San Francisco, has been educating local children since 1885. The school building, playground, gym, science center, after-school care and Pre-K facilities are contained within our gated and secure campus.We have educated over 4,000 students in the rich, Catholic tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame. Each year, an average of 95% of Our Lady of Mount Carmel's graduates choose to continue their Catholic Education and are accepted into the Catholic College Preparatory High School of their choice.
