We love kids. Kids are fun and funny, and it is a joy to spend our time with kids and their families. Our Village Therapy offers child-centered and family-centered speech therapy services to Eastside families.Why child-centered? Because all children deserve great relationships with family, friends, and teachers. 7% of children struggle to make and maintain these relationships because of communication difficulties. Our mission is to minimize that struggle and help kids discover the joy of communication and social interaction.Why family-centered? Because no one knows more about your child than you. We want to empower you to help your child build the skills he or she needs to succeed. And because families experiencing communication disorder often feel isolated and alone, but there's strength in numbers, and we want to help you build a community.Who are we? We are Dua and Julie, and together we own Our Village Therapy. We are speech-language pathologists, medical professionals who specialize in communication and swallowing disorders. You might already know us as "speech therapists".
