By providing the first mobile custom framing service here in Columbus, our goal is to take the stress and guesswork out of custom framing by providing you with a complimentary in-home design consultation, periodic updates as to the status of your order, and free delivery and hanging of your completed frame. By shopping in the comfort of your own home you'll not only feel more comfortable with the process, but you'll be more confident in your design decisons by being able to see the design in the room the piece is destined to hang. Additionally, we offer a specialty line of solid wood frames that you simply can't get anywhere else in Columbus; no longer are you limited to the plastic and MDF mouldings offered at typical custom frame shops.Our other goal at Out of the Box Custom Framing is to provide the amazing local artist community of Columbus the ability to showcase their work while ensuring it is properly protected as well. As a local fine art photographer himself, Doug Trott knows that life as an artist is hard enough without having to pour hundreds of dollars into each frame just to be able to show your work at galleries and exhibitions. Unfortunately this leads many artists, including Doug when he first start out, to frame their work with inferior products, presenting a substantial risk of ultimately damaging it. At Out of the Box, we use only archival quality materials and methods during the framing process so your hard work will be kept safe for years to come.
