Outside My Studio is not your conventional portrait studio because I don't use a portrait studio for my photography sessions. Instead, I utilize the natural beauty found outdoors in the Pacific Northwest as the backdrop for my work. Based in Portland, Oregon, I shoot exclusively on location and am willing to travel anywhere around this region to meet your family's photography needs.My philosophy centers around the notion that placing a child in an unnatural setting - such as a portrait studio - makes it far more difficult and unlikely to capture that child's true, natural expressions and personality. My approach is to seek an environment where your child is completely comfortable - whether on a hike, at a local park, or in your own backyard - and photograph their authentic behaviors and reactions to the elements surrounding them.
