Outta the Cage started when a group of like-minded dog lovers in the tech community realized that animals in shelters deteriorate over time. We also know that their personalities blossom once they leave their cages. That photos and videos cultivate awareness. That pet overpopulation is real. And that data matters.We visit crowded shelters to get dogs #outtathecage and work to find them forever families. We use social media to optimize awareness of the most urgent and forgotten shelter animals. We advocate shelter reform through technology modernization. We also advise shelters and rescue organizations on how to deploy the right technology and collect data to save more lives.Outta the Cage is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit, and an all-volunteer crew.
