Ovation Stage aims to provide a creative and inspiring environment where playwrights, actors, directors, designers, visual artists and theatre enthusiasts join together to create thought provoking and stimulating works that allow theatre-goers to view, experience and ponder the zeitgeist (the spirit of our times). Penny Kline, artistic director, is frequently asked, "Why do you want to have your own theatre company?" She says she simply has an overwhelming desire to create and to connect with other artists. But what's most important to Penny is to have Ovation Stage present stories where both the actors and the audience members discover joys, fears, hopes, secrets and dreams that inspire awareness that we humans have more in common than we have apart.
