We are building a Superlight, Hyper-Connected Web3 Protocol named Over Protocol.Over Protocol is the first blockchain that focuses on decentralization by reducing the storage size of the blockchain based on Ethanos.Ethanos is an idea that periodically prunes dormant accounts and old transactions to constrain the full node size.- The experimental results showed that we could make a full node size below 1 GB and accelerate bootstrapping time to under 10 minutes, which is small enough for ordinary people to run a full node.Since Over Protocol focuses on decentralization and cannot abandon a security, it sacrifices scalability. Instead, we build a hyper-connected bridge through 2-way peg which can open a secure channel to other scalable blockchains or layer 2 solutions.
