Overdown Technology provides the Broadcast, Electronic Media and Digital Cinema industries with a full range of consulting services. This service is based on over 25 years of experience, working with companies such as Sony, Harris, Wolfson, Pro-bel, Snell, OmniTek, Altera and Xilinx.Our services are as diverse as our range of competencies. We are equally happy to sit in on a two hour meeting with a Field Applications Engineer or a Venture Capitalist, to give a professional opinion, through to a complete product design. Taking an initial product idea through to production, we can carry out all aspects including feasibility studies, hardware, firmware, software, industrial and mechanical design.Key areas of technological skills include all formats of video, analogue, both composite and component, SD & HD digital video, covering bit rates from 270Mb/s to 3Gb/s. Analogue and digital audio including AES/EBU, Dolby digital and Dolby E. Our engineers are also experienced with teletext, closed captions and time code.
