Carman J. Overholt, Q.C., established Overholt Law on June 18th, 2012 after practicing with large law firms in downtown Vancouver for 26 years. Two associate lawyers, Preston I.A.D. Parsons and Jennifer S. Kwok, joined the firm in January 2013. Overholt Law specializes in the areas of Employment, Labour Relations, Human Rights, Privacy and Occupational Health and Safety. Carman has represented employers in numerous labour arbitration proceedings and in connection with collective bargaining. The focus of the firm is working closely with senior management and human resources professionals to ensure compliance with labour, employment, occupational health and safety and human rights legislation and to develop policies and strategies that minimize the risk of litigation and disruption of operations.
