Own My IP is an online service to help buyers and creators of copyrighted material (such as designs, copy, logos, music, photos etc) to transfer the rights to that material simply and securely. It helps to protect both the buyers and suppliers of copyrighted work, by providing an agreement of copyright transfer. It works by facilitating an email exchange containing an agreement. Once this agreement is accepted, it is stored in a personal IP locker (which either side can access) to help protect against disputes over copyright ownership. Copyright is automatically assigned to the creator of work (unless there is an agreement otherwise) and disputes over it can be costly and drawn-out. Own My IP provides a quick and simple solution.
