Jason Hutt founded Brooklyn-based Oxbow Lake Films in 2001 to create feature length independent documentaries and provide production services to a diverse roster of clients.Since then it has produced award-winning films that have screened around the world and been broadcast on PBS, BBC, MSG Network and YES Israel. The films provide emotionally intimate portraits of unique and innovative subjects, with a unifying theme being how people find meaning in life's routines and rituals, both secular and spiritual.Oxbow Lake Films has also created short films for gala fundraisers, professional development, marketing, web series and educational use for private clients such as Museum of Modern Art, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Harvard University, Columbia University, Vera Institute of Justice, Success Academy Charter Schools, the Foundation for Jewish Culture and a variety of artists and arts organizations.
