Primary/secondary Education - Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States
Splash is originally an American programme that began at MIT in 1957 as part of the Summer Studies Program (SSP). The core idea was simple, and continues to be at the heart of each chapter's activities today: to provide interested high school students with a learning environment distinct in both content and style from their usual classroom experience. Since then, MIT's Splash programmes have grown to serve over 3,500 students annually and remain the largest programmes held each year. Splash has spread to 12 universities in 7 different states including Stanford in 1996, UChicago in 2007, Duke in 2010, and Yale in 2011. We are proud to announce that Splash at Oxford is the first international chapter and held its inaugural programme in Trinity term of 2015.We are recruiting!
