Import & Export - Venhuizen, North Holland, Netherlands
'A family business for 125 years'The story of our company dates back to 1894 when P. Aker started trading in flower and vegetable seeds. Not long thereafter, however, he started focusing on the production of flower bulbs: tulips at first and then gladioli and irises. Around 1948, the company started exporting its products to various countries in Europe and then, in the '50s, to America. This was followed by many countries around the world until, in the '80s, the company stopped its production activities to focus entirely on exporting products of truly outstanding quality. And this is what we still do today. In 2008, we moved to our current location in Venhuizen, a Dutch town in the province of North Holland, so that we could continue our growth and satisfy market demands. Here, housed in this modern facility, we serve our loyal customers with pride and passion.
