P2P Productions, in United States and Canada, founded by award-winning film maker and photographer Wayne Schoenfeld, use media to celebrate the best of humanity and to empower people and help them realize their own potential while creating positive change in the world. P2P focus is to bring attention to social and humanitarian causes by producing documentary, films, books and exhibition all over the world.The first brick in the foundation of P2P Productions was laid in 2003 with the publication of "Almost Perfect", Wayne Schoenfeld's photojournal of a volunteer medical team in Vietnam. Awarded Most Life Changing Book by an Independent Publisher, this was the first in a collection of almost twenty books and movies that tell the story of everyday people, all over the world, struggling against the challenges of poverty, corrupt governments, the ravages of both natural disasters and war to make the world a better place . In more than a decade, P2P Productions has won many awards and recognitions and been responsible for assisting NGO's and charitable causes in getting their stories out and raising significant money and patronage to do more. In 2014 P2P Productions won Best Feature Documentary (Movie version "Liberia: Emerging from the Shadows?" Los Angeles Cinema Festival), Honorable Mention at the Southern California Book Fair (Book version "Liberia: Emerging from the Shadows?) and Second Place HUMAN RIGHTS documentary film "Mujeres" filmed in one of the murder capitals of the world, Guatemala).
