P+A INTERIORS is an award-winning sustainable interior design studio, led by Shelley Penner. We create exceptional spaces, whether workplace, retail, or hospitality environments, educational, health or community facilities, or residential projects. While based in Vancouver, we work on projects throughout British Columbia and across Canada.Since incorporating in 2001, P+A INTERIORS has been recognized for a creative and responsive approach to interior design. We have received numerous design and innovation awards from the Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia, the Architectural Institute of British Columbia and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, as well as lighting design awards from the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. Our interior design projects have been featured in many publications including House & Home, Style at Home, Western Living and Canadian Interiors.P+A INTERIORS brings to every project:+ an understanding of the physical, psychological and cultural needs of people+ a focus on the quality of experience+ a recognition of the importance of placemaking.We continuously research and apply design principles that optimize health, wellness and sustainability. A project is considered successful when functionality and beauty intertwine to create evocative spaces rich in volume, form, light, colour and material while meeting programmatic requirements.P+A INTERIORS has substantial experience in the implementation of LEED rating systems with Shelley Penner serving as project administrator for four LEED Gold projects and as a team member on two other projects that achieved Gold and Platinum.
