PA Organic Garden is dedicate to providing low income urban families with fresh, healthy, locally grown food along with the knowledge and tools necessary to grow their own nutrient rich produce. Our primary goal is to address the issue of hunger and malnutrition through both community and residential gardens as well as providing a hands on learning experience with research based organic gardening education and practices. Our activities will help improve people's quality of life by stimulating social interaction, encouraging self-reliance producing nutritious food, reducing family food budgets, conserving resources and creating opportunities for recreation, exercise, and education while providing a catalyst for neighborhood and community development.
