We are an international team of four students/graduates who aim to drive sustainable change in the (micro)mobility sector. We founded our start-up Pacelo in the Entrepreneurship program The Mission V: Mobility be urban!, an innovation initiative by FUTURY, Bain&Company, Handelsblatt Media Group, PreZero and Deutsche Bank.For more sustainable cities of the future, we see great potential in electric micromobility vehicles. One major issue, that limits the usage of especially widely available e-scooters to only leisure rides, is their lack of baggage capacity. To make e-scooters usable for short distance with luggage, and, by this, increase their value and sustainable impact, we have developed an innovative, transformable add-on transportation module for e-scooters. This way, we enable urban people to transport their everyday baggage, e.g., shopping bags, parcels and smaller luggage in a safe, flexible and comfortable way without having to rely on a car.
