PacificSport Okanagan encompasses a geographical area that extends through the Okanagan Valley stretching north of Vernon to Enderby and south of Penticton to Osoyoos. The Kelowna-based centre was established in 2001 and is connected to a network of five regional centers and three national campuses across the province.WHO WE AREA legacy of the 1995 Western Canada Summer Games, PacificSport Okanagan is a not-for-profit regional sport hub created to lead athlete, coach, and community sport services in British Columbia's Okanagan.Our organization provides dedicated support to registered athletes and coaches, in addition to hosting community sport programs and event for youth to adults. Through partnerships with recreation departments, school districts, health authorities and local sport organizations, PacificSport Okanagan delivers programming for the Canadian Sport for Life movement, improving the quality of sport and physical activity in Canada.PacificSport Okanagan is funded by investments from the Province of BC, viaSport, and the cities of Kelowna, Penticton and Vernon, and is a member of the viaSport Regional Alliance— a network of PacificSport centres and regional multi-sport leaders across the province.
