PACKING PEARLS are large, rigid, light weight balls comprised of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) of which 35% comes from recycled materials. Manufactured in the USA, Packing Pearls are safe for all plant and vegetable container gardening. The simple Packing Pearls three-step growing system works in all sizes of containers and is reusable year after year. A Packing Pearls starter kit contains a Universal Drain Shield that fits over the hole in the bottom of the pot, plenty of Packing Pearls, and a handy pot liner that fits over the pearls and under the potting soil. Two sizes of starter kits are available. The medium kit, which fi ts pots up to 16 inches wide, sells for $19.99. The large kit, which fits pots up to 22 inches wide, sells for $29.99.
