Padian.com is the core product of AMIR Consortium Sdn. Bhd., based in Brunei Darussalam, which is made up of 3 companies, namely Alif Technologies (majority shareholder of 90%), Mimit Technologies and Rafiqun Services. The Consortium has set up its organisation structure with the shareholders as the Board of Directors and a Chief Executive Officer employed to oversee the running and planning of the business. Padian.com is Brunei's first Business-to-business portal which aims to provide an affordable and cost-effective solution for local businesses (SMEs & Microbusinesses) to promote and sell their products and services, and stimulate trade and cross-border partnership with foreign businesses. This is achieved through services such as website services, business matching, directory, tender and business related information, all wrapped in a user-friendly and functional interface. This venture is financed by the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) and AMIR Consortium members.
