The Victorian Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS) is one of nine Integrated Cancer Services (ICS) funded by the Victorian Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS). We lead a networked paediatric cancer care system in Victoria.We achieve our goals through working with the following Victorian health services.Victorian primary diagnostic and treatment centres: - The Royal Children's Hospital - Monash Children's HospitalState-wide paediatric radiation therapy service: - Peter MacCallum Cancer CentreRegional shared care centres (see website for list and map).Our aim is to ensure children and adolescents with cancer receive the best care, in the best facility, as close to home as possible. To do so, we:- Lead and advocate for best-practice paediatric cancer care in Victoria- Respond to the needs of consumers and our partners- Drive innovation and quality improvement- Promote an accessible and family-centred service system- Use data and the best available evidence to set state-wide standards of care- Support access to innovative treatment options
