Owner/artisan Michael Gauf creates branded, one-of-kind guitars for personal expression and use at fundraisers (raffles, silent auctions, crowd funding). Each finished instrument presents a message, feeling and/or story specific to the commission. Whether the Delta roots of Helena, Ark., spice of the New Orleans's music scene or the rebel in Southern rock, Painted Axe looks to craft an indelible connection.
