Pakistan Environmental Journalists is the first of its kind organisation in Pakistan. We aim to provide the young generation of Pakistan a platform where they practice Environmental Journalism and report environmental issues in the process. We, at Pakistan Environmental Journalists, believe in youth empowerment. The young generation of Pakistan has a huge potential, if provided with right opportunity we can not only polish their skills but can gain benefits that will help us build a successful developed country.The lack of attention given by the media and the authorities as well as lack of reliable information and environmental data are the reasons for a dangerously scarce level of understanding and awareness of environmental issues in the public. Therefore, we have stepped forward to fill that gap and play our role for the sustainable future of Pakistan.Our primary objective is to educate people about environmental issues in Pakistan and the role they can play individually and collectively to resolve those issues. We will spread this information through videos, articles, seminars and other activities.We have a team of very dedicated individuals, all of whom are either students or faculty members in departments of environmental studies in very reputable universities of Pakistan.
