The Palaweño Information & Communication Technology Association (PICTA) is a de facto ICT Council, pioneering the growth and development of ICT in Puerto Princesa-Palawan, Philippines. We seek to increase the influence of IT and professional groups among decision-makers and stakeholders in Palawan through collaboration and mentoring as viable tools for promoting and developing Palawan-Puerto Princesa as one of the Next Wave Cities[TM], the next IT-Business Process Management destination and Smart City.PICTA is being participated by decision makers, professionals and youth across academia, national government, local government, industry, and non-profit sectors. Member institutions and individuals shared common interest in enabling Palawan-Puerto Princesa to steer as the ICT knowledge and awareness provider in the province.
