OUR STORY - MEET THE TEAM:"Small steps toward sustainable change"Palea Bamboo was created by Pablo and Lea, a young couple originally from Spain and France that realized the challenges faced by local environmental institutions struggling to raise funding and awareness to protect the environment. We started using bamboo-made products including toothbrushes when we realized how much damage plastic was causing to our close environment and climate change… Around 4 billion toothbrushes are sold worldwide each year, that's enough to stretch around the world 14 times. Now we pursue our dream and want to make our contribution to a better Planet launching our bamboo toothbrushes.OUR VISION:Our goal is to contribute to a better world by taking small steps toward sustainability and offering alternatives to the mass consumption of plastic. We want to play a leading role in the market of biodegradable bamboo made products. We would like to keep producing alternative products for a better future.Palea has partnered with Ocean Wise to support ocean pollution research programs.OUR MISSIONOver 7.6 billion people live on planet Earth and by 2050, that figure will have grown to 9 billion! Our growth and consumption habits are unsustainable for future generations. Changing our habits from plastic toothbrushes to bamboo may not seem like it makes a big difference but small steps towards a positive consumption habit could go a long way. It takes an average of 30 times for a new action to become part of a routine. Our vision is a world with less plastic and pollution in the ocean. We are all responsible and should act to protect our planet.
