Pam is a sole physiotherapist in a private practice in the Inner West of Sydney, with 30 years of experience in Manual musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy.She has involved herself in falls prevention and Osteoporosis prevention exercise programs, and community work with the elderly.Pam has over 20 years experience in pelvic floor physiotherapy and in 2010, completed a post Graduate certificate in pelvic floor rehabilitation through Melbourne university Pam is interested in in muscular skeletal movement patterns and functional integration with the pelvic floor muscles.Pam is a childbirth and Parenting educator at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and has been since 1995Sydney SWAHS advanced lactation course completed 2008 She has a special interest in Temperomandibular Joint ( TMJ )disorders and attends regular conferences run by the Australian chapter of the American Craniofacial pain society. She works collaboratively with dentists and has completed 2 courses on temperomandibualr joint dysfunction with professor Mariano Rocabado from Chile. In 2015 Pam became a certified orofacial myologist completing the introductory course and advanced course in orofacial myology.This has assisted with understanding more about glossal mechanics and the influence that tongue position and function has on breathing and tooth structure and function. It has also improved orofacial and orophalangeal assessment and knowledge. Pam is a Bradcliff breathing method instructor.She attended the 3 day Watson Headache® Institute, Level 1 course Foundation Headache Course "The Role of C1-C3 Cervical Afferents in Primary Headache". this year .The Watson Headache® Approach is unparalleled. It can confirm if disorders in the upper neck are responsible for headache or migraine and determine the exact nature of the disorder as well as which spinal joints are involved.
